Cannot update payment methods either, including on the One. Tl dr- can't buy anything on my xbox 360, despite having a balance and a card listed. And obviously I'd also like to access payment on the one as well!!

Do y'all have any idea at all what might be going on? I know the issue is more on the Microsoft/360 side, but I'm wondering if the issue has to do with me getting a backwards compatible thing or entering the gift card on the xbone. My friend literally gave me this card so that I could talk to her about the DLC and actually enjoy it because she knew I feel guilty about spending money on games. I really just want to be able to buy this DLC. No dice- it said I had no card on file and to use a balance, but didn't let me use the balance. I even booted up ME3 on the One and tried to go through the option on the start screen to buy DLC. They removed my credit card for me and I can't go back in and add one still. We did EVERYTHING they could find, including me reformatting the xbox 360. On my One and my comp, I can buy games using either card or balance from the store as usual.but you can only buy 360 games using the balance on the 360 itself. On another Microsoft account I have, it works just fine. So I got a card added, and that didn't fix the issue.ДЈ60 says I have no payment options at all, neither balance nor card. I finally got a credit card added by going through my Xbox one- that's the only way it will load, and I have to go through the Store to do it even the browser won't work on there. Then I went to the microsoft website and it wouldn't show me my balance or let me add a payment method.

Went to check that out and it won't let me update my payment options on the console it gave me an error about a license issue, so I hit the transfer license even though the license had been working fine and had never been transferred to anyone but me. Swapped to the 360, and it says I have no payment options on file. Weirdly, it wouldn't let me access the payment/billing section in settings either. I put that on my account, everything was fine, then found out I can't buy it right from my One. It's a 360 game but backwards compatible. Sorry if this is the wrong subreddit, but I'm desperate.ДЄ friend gave me a $25 xbox gift card specifically to buy Citadel, a Mass Effect 3 DLC.
